History
Grupo Mega was funded in 2003 with its headquarters in Guadalajara, Jalisco, with the objective of offering financing to companies and persons, which were not understood by traditional banking system, mainly through leasing for productive assets.
It emerged as an innovative idea of Mr. Guillermo Romo Romero (who in 2007 sold Tequila Herradura, his family’s business for over 7 generations, to Brown Forman) to diversify the family’s investments.
We have accomplished an annual average growing rate of 82% in the last five years, and we have started an expansion stage to internationalize, recently we launched our services in Central American, with our our headquarters in Antiguo, Cuscatlán, El Salvador.
